Artist Statement:
In my paintings, I experiment with different texture and include different elements creating an exciting composition for the eyes to play with.
I like to use a vast array of colors, shades, and textures.
I always have to include natural materials like sand, leaves, minerals, sticks, dirt, and shells.
Using these items gets me in touch with the more primal and spiritual side.
Lots of tearing, cutting, shredding and layering action go on while in my creative dream creating on a blank canvas.
I project all the emotions that I find soothing, calming or even meditative to the beautifully dark and depressing whispers.
The works are windows peeking into my or others views of life.
I love to express myself in emotion and thought through many artistic forms.
All of my creations are one-of-a-kind.
